This website is designed and built to W3C Double-A accessibility standards.
Changing the text size
Although we have intentionally kept the text clear, you may prefer to increase the text size to make it easier to read. This can be done directly from the website using the 'Text Size' options in the top left corner. Alternatively, you can alter the text size in your web browser.
Internet Explorer
1. Click on the View menu
2. Select Text Size
3. Choose the size of text you would like
Firefox
1. Click on the View menu
2. Select Zoom
3. You can then zoom in or zoom out on the text to change the size
Other browsers
You can refer to you browsers Help menu if you are using a different browser.
Browsers will also allow you to change other settings which may help you to read information on your screen. This includes changing the background colour and font style.
Changing the background colour
Internet Explorer (version 6 and later)
1. Click on the Tools menu
2. Select Internet Options menu
3. Choose the Accessibility button (in the General tab)
4. Select the Ignore colors specified on webpages box
5. Click OK
6. Click on the Colors option
7. Uncheck Use Windows colors box
8. Select the text and background colours that you wish to use
9. Click OK
10. Click OK again to close the options screen
Firefox (version 2.9 and later)
1. Go to the Tools menu bar and select Options menu (make sure that you are in the content section)
2. Go to the Fonts & Colours section
3. Click on the Advanced button
4. Untick the Allow pages to choose their own colours, instead of my selections above box and click OK
5. Click on the Colours button
6. Select the colours you wish to choose for your text and background
7. Click OK
8. Click OK again exit the options menu

Changing the font style
Internet Explorer
1. Go to the Tools menu
2. Select Internet Options
3. Select Accessibility button
4. Tick Ignore font styles specified on web pages
5. Click OK
6. Click Fonts button
7. Select the font you wish to use
8. Click OK
9. Click OK again to close the Internet Options screen
Firefox
1. Go to the Tools menu
2. Select Options
3. Make sure you are in the Content section
4. Select the font you wish to use in Fonts & Colours
5. Click on the Advanced button
6. Untick the box that says Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above
7. Click OK
8. Click OK again to close the Options screen
