Welcome to the Staplehurst Health Centre website.

The Health Centre opened in March 2007 and is located at the rear of the Public Library with access from Offens Drive and from the High Street via the path beside the Public Library. There is easy access for wheelchairs and facilities for the Disabled include disabled parking, wheelchairs and a lift. There is ample patient parking on site.
The practice and staff are committed to treating all patients with respect and dignity without discrimination and with complete confidentiality. We aim to provide a high standard of medical care, explaining your condition and planning your management with you.
We would ask in return that you follow any appropriate advice, be courteous to all staff and cancel any appointments that are no longer required. We appreciate that delays can occur whilst awaiting a consultation with a Doctor or Nurse, however we would ask for your understanding and patience as often a patient is found to require more time than normal in order to receive the care & attention necessary. Reception will do all in their power to keep patients informed of delays at all times.
POLICY ON VIOLENT OR ABUSIVE PATIENTS
We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff on a similarly respectful manner. We take very seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients. If a patient is violent or abusive, they will be warned to stop their behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients.
DATA PROTECTION:
The Practice is registered under the Data Protection Act. All employed staff have access to patients' records and their Contracts of Employment make them subject to observance of confidentiality at all times.
